Framed ledged and boarded external doors
Our framed ledged and boarded external doors are very popular in period properties, barn conversations and timber frame houses offering a secure and durable door. This construction of door is available in either solid form as an ED5 or with a variety of glazing options.
Glazed external doors
Most designs can accommodate glazing, for example a small fanlight like in this plank door ED3.
Our external doors are supplied unglazed if a window is requested. Please note that properties that are having work carried out under Building Control will require 24mm Double Glazed Units. Meaning that the doors will need to be 55mm in finished thickness.
Most replacement Doors are 45mm in Thickeness to encorportate a 5 leaver mortise lock for security. They are produced with a sanded finish leaving them ready for you to finish them to your choice.
We also supply Solid Oak Door Frames, most commonly 90 x 70mm or 90 x 55mm in section rebated with a Cill.
