Widths and Length Spec
Our engineered flooring is available in widths from 125mm to 220mm with lengths up to 2.2m. We have two thicknesses 20mm (with a 6mm wear layer), and 18mm (with a 4 or 5mm wear layer).
The flooring is prefinished in either an oiled or lacquered finish, in various grades. It has T&G on all 4 sides (end matched). No stress relief.
The boards have a slight bevel along the edges which will give the appearance of a groove along the length of the floor boards when they are laid.
As well as the traditional oak, we are also able to offer some ranges which have more up to date finishes, such as smoked and limed. The images below are taken from the samples we have on display in our showroom and show some of the finishes available.
Engineered oak flooring can be either nailed to joists or battens, glued to a sound concrete base, or floated (glued along the joints).
For those situations where solid oak flooring is not suitable, we are able to supply engineered oak. We work with our suppliers to ensure that the product we supply is comparable in quality to our solid oak range.
